O Little Robin

O little robin,
You are singing again!

Only a few minitues ago-
In such distress,
So frightened and confused,
You frantically fluttered about
And hurled yourself against the window panes,
Just because
You accidentally got into the house.

Yet, as soon as you were exhausted
And seemed "give up",
There came the loving hands, you see,
Gently held your trembling body,
Patted your head, smooth your feather,
Took you outside
And let you fly free.

Now, perched on the high tree branch,
So confident and happy,
O little robin,
You are singing again!
